Copying Pictures to DVD-RW - Completed with thanks
« on: Sunday 08 November 09 09:22 UTC (UK) »

Hi  Smiley

I cannot seem to copy some pictures to a DVD - RW. When I put the disc in the E  drive it tries to format it then says it cannot. I am using Windows Vista.

Any suggestions please.

Thank you

Evie

I read somewhere that they managed to get around this problem by going to My Computer and clicking on the drive and selecting Format.

Hi downside

Thank you for your reply

That seemed easier as you could drag the pictures but it is still coming up with 'windows was unable to complete the format'

Hi Kathy

My son has used those discs to make back up copies of something when he got his new computer. I was just about to try another disc because as you say some can be faulty. However I did go into my computer and choose quick format, I think it was, and it worked.

So again thank you Kathy and downside for your replies and help.
