Census deciphering help please
« on: Sunday 08 November 09 15:52 UTC (UK) »

Hi i have found some relatives on the 1861 census but i just cannot figure out what the occupations say for them, nor the place of birth for the wife.

There are also two extra people living with them on it, on the transcription on ancestry it says the child is the son of the head of house but he has a different surname to everyone in the household   Huh

I do not know how to put the image on the forum but if anybody can check it for me i would be very grateful, thank you to anybody who tries!

The transcription said the child was John Luntt  Huh ha!

It looks more like LUNTT than SMITH to me.

What's this I find?

Births Jun 1852
LUNT    John Henry         Gt Boughton    8a   3_7

EDIT: I agree it's probably SMITH  Embarrassed
