Feltmakers' Company London 1700s

 My 5G Grandfather Benjamin Hobley is first mentioned in 1711 as being apprenticed to Stephen Royce of the Feltmakers' Company in Southwark. Could anyone advise how I might find out more about the Feltmakers at that time please?
Also, as Hobley is a Midlands name, any ideas how I might be able to trace his line back there? I've only hit dead ends so far.

The Feltmakers Company was one of the London City Livery Companies and its records are at Guildhall Library in London.  These include the apprentice bindings and the freedom admissions for the period in which you are interested.  There are also court minutes which might reveal something.
