REQUEST MODIFIED - INCORRECT DATES NOW AMENDED
could anyone look up this birth for me as I need help to trace Harry's mother.

He was born in Beverley, in 1873/ 4. His father is William Leonard Fell, who by the 1881 census had remarried (to my gt gt grandmother, Mary Anne Woodhouse). living with them in 1881 was William's son Harry and one of Mary Anne' daughters. I  have been unable to go further back on his mothers side.

I would also like to know more, as although harry is only related by marriage to my family, the surname has cropped up again in my daughters boyfriends family, and I am intrigued to find out if there might be a connection.

Any help greatly appreciated

A first port of call should be www.freebmd.org.uk   That shows a probable birth registration for Harry.    Further search might show a possible marriage. Earlier census might be fruitful too.  Where are they in 1881?

Interesting that in 1871 William is unmarried and has a housekeeper who has two children.  Assuming that he was then married to Harry's mother that cuts down the dates to search.   The best bet would be to get the birth certificate but I can see that for such a vague connection that is not a very sensible suggestion!
Ah, found a marriage.  William Leonard Fell and one of the possible brides is Jessie Harrison.  Beverley 9d 169 Sep 1872.   Death for Jessie Fell. Hull 9d 135 Sep 1879
