Hi i am looking for the parents of a JOSEPH MEADWELL b Easton On The Hill c 1812, I have a couple of candidates but not 100% certain.

Hi Collette,
There are baptisms of other chilldren to James ( occp woodsman) and Jane on Freereg including;
Jane 1816
John 1814
Edward 1819
Josephs is not there, but it seems a little early for the records that have been transcribed on Freereg for Easton.
RE 1841 CENSUS;
Edward is on the 1841 with James/Jane, aged 20 rounded, wheel wright, still living at home. So looks good. James seems to have married late in life though abt aged 38. Possibly a second marriage? Jane is also 10yrs younger approx.
I presume it is your Joseph living nearby?
There is also a Thomas Meadwell aged 45 and family on same page. Maybe another son from previous marriage.
There is a submitted christening for a Thomas Meadwell, 08 May 1803, Father James on IGI.
