What time period - Govan has been part of Glasgow since 1912 (which still annoys some govanites Smiley )

see http://www.theglasgowstory.com/govan/introduction.php

At the moment it would be The Govan Press which has survived over a century - there was another one I think it was called the Govan Post which has ceased circulation - some sites claim the Govan press ceased circulation in the 1980's but it is still going as a visit to their website will testify.

In addition there are the "Glasgow" newspapers The Evening Times, The Citizen (ceased publication), The Glasgow Herald, The Daily Record

There's also a free newspaper in Glasgow called The Glaswegian. Not sure how long that has been going for.
Or the Evening Times is a sort of Daily afternoon paper for Glasgow.
