George Beeston

Can anyone help, im trying to find the fathers name of George Beeston Born 1830 in Stottesdon Shropshire, i know the Mothers name was Sarah Beeston. On the parish register it only has the mothers name mentioned, so it looks as though George was an illegitimate child, is there anyway of finding the father  Huh

No easy way to say this - but no

If you buy a copy of his marriage cert - it may have a fathers name on it.  However, many illegitimate children made up a fathers name when they married so as to appear "respectable" so it would not be reliable

Thanks for the reply, i will order his marriage certificate hoping there is a fathers name. Fingers crossed.
