Hi All,

In 1851
Edwin Page aged 57 born Shalford bc 1794
Occupation : Farmer of 50 acres employing 2 labourers
Lydia Page Wife aged 60 (something) born Wethersfield
In 1861 Edward Page Widower bc 1794 Shalford is
living with Henry Tanner in Street Shalford ( George Tanner's brother)
Edward appears to have died between 1861 and 1871

Son in Law was George Tanner who seems to have inherited most of the farm. There are 15 acres going else where.

George Tanner bc 1810 Wethersfield / Shalford
Occupation : in 1861 & 1871 Carpenter employed 8 men and 2 boys. Also in 1871 as a Farmer with 35 acres employed 2 labourers and 1 boy

I also have :-

Death George Tanner aged 7_ (70+) - June Quarter 1879 Braintree 4a 256
George must also have made a will but the farm seems to have vanished from the family.
