Thomases of Tonna

After much headscratching - and a vital piece of information from my mum (that her maternal grandfather William Thomas had a brother called Morgan Arthur) - I think I have found my great great grandparents on the 1891 census and my widowed great great grandmother on the 1901:

1901
Elizabeth A Thomas age 44 Widow born 1857 Tonna
William Thomas age 19 born 1882 Tonna
Morgan A Thomas age 13 born 1888 Tonna

1891
John Thomas age 34 born 1857 Llantwit
Elizabeth Thomas age 34 born Llantwit
William Thomas age 9 born Llantwit
Morgan A age 3 born Llantwit

GENUKI tells me Llantwit and Tonna are neighbouring parishes in Glamorgan.

After John's death, Elizabeth (whose middle name was Ann) married a John Jenkins - she died in Tonna on 6 March 1925.

But I don't know how I prove if these people are my ancestors or not Sad Help!

When William marries, have you got the cert - if so was his dad John? that would be one indication that you are on the right track or otherwise.

Can't afford certs at mo, unemployed again - waiting for cheque to clear. Will have a look on the marriage index to see if I can spot a likely match.
