Edinburg - James Alexander
« on: Saturday 12 March 05 20:02 UTC (UK) »

I'm looking for family contacts and history.
My great grandfather James Alexander married Isabella Thomson in Edinburgh in 1878. His son John Alexander married Anne Ross in Inverness in 1919. They had two sons, Donald and Ian(my father). The family  immigrated to the US in 1930.

Hi Jack,
Welcome Grin
Are you looking for certificates.
If you go to scotlandspeople,  you can purchase all your certs online. very cheaply.
and also use the IGI, on familysearch. free
good luck.
Maybe if you give more info. do you have their marriage certificates and then the next generation. Or is this all you know.
