Have mislaid part of my tree & the following names haven't studied but need to find their parents & siblings of their father please.
Any added info. appreciated.
1. Ida SHEARER b: 26 Feb 1910. Married Alexander SUTHERLAND - 1 son
2. Aletta SHEARER b: 26 Apr 1914. Married John LAIRD - 1 son
3. Patricia SHEARER b: 28 Apr 1916. Married William FRASER - 2 sons
4. Thomas Anderson SHEARER b: 28 Sept 1918. Married Barbara COOPER - 4 sons.

Hi Tiff, Found your Aletta born Kirkwall&St Ola 1914 died 9th Dec 1995
Verna Patricia born Kirkwall&StOla 1916 died 5th Oct 1997
So far havent found a birth for Ida but I have a death 2 Nov 2001
Found a birth for Thomas Anderson Shearer in Kirkwall&StOla 1918 and marriage 1937 but no death as yet
I have got the memorial inscriptions for Verna Patricia, Ida and Aletta with the spouses you mentioned, but there are references to people who have recently died so it may be better to send them by pm if you want them
No luck yet on their parents!
By the way, I have found out I have Stronsay Connections through the Shearers, Leslie,s Coopers and Brocks

my grandfather was called ebenezer shearer kirkpatrick his g/grandmother was margaret shearer born 1798 caittness ,her father was donald shearer born 1760 dunnett caithness and his father was george shearer born about 1734 ,hope you find a connection here somewhere regards sandra
