Is anyone else having trouble with the images on Ancestry relating to the 1891 cencus Ihavent been able to get to them since Friday it just says !missing image!

I think its just you ! I can view images. Previously, I've found that certain pages might be missing and had to order paper copies from PRO.

I do get missing ones from time to time but 1891 seems to be working ok generally.

Thanks Sue the image is definatly there, i got details from it on Thursday but went back yesterday and today to check something and it just says image missing

I think its supposed to be Queens Buildings Huh
Iknow on one of the other cencuses the address was Waterloo Rd and it could be Waterloo Rd on the image.

As a note, you may be having trouble with their advanced viewer. Have you trried re-installing it

After 16 years in IT, supporting so many computers I don't care to count, the answer is.....I don't know.

Seriously though, it won't be anything you did. More likely you installed a similar program that (naughtily) over-wrote a DLL that the advanced viewer uses.

If you "really" want an answer, I'd throw it at ancestry.com and see if they have a better answer. Meanwhile, if you want it to work, I guess that re-installing the advance viewer may work, but its just a guess and I don't know how you'd do it (again you'd need to ask ancestry....)
