Help with a marriage please

Hi Guys

I was hoping someone could help me out with a marriage.

I have tried free BDM and Ancestory but cannot find it anywhere.

It is a Frederick Legassick and Mabel Janet.  I don't have her maiden name.

I think he is actually called William Frederick.

Fred was born abt 1884.

They lived in Falmouth and Penryn.

I would like to be able to buy the certificate.

Any help would be great

You can email the registrars at Falmouth and they will tell you whether or not they hold the cert. They are very helpful. I understood my rellies married in Falmouth and it ended up being Clovelly in North Devon.

Cant tell you about the marriage as it probably hasnt been transcribed yet - they are only up to about 1911 or thereabouts.

BUT :
Frederick William Legassick was born Dec Q 1883

and a poss Mabel Janet was :

Mabel Janet Medlin born Dec Q 1886

So that may give you something to work on if you decide to email the registrars at Falmouth.

Your two seem to have been married after 1910 as that is as far as the records seem to go and they dont appear there as you have already found out.
