Where do's SCOTT come into it as i have SCOTT as a middle name in 1851 and again in 1871. Walter SCOTT LAURIE b 1871 Leeds. This has to be a family name?HuhHuh?

John Laurie married Mary Johnstone on Nov 4, 1831, Dumfries.

  Mary Johnstone born April 16, 1811, parents Christopher Johnstone/Winifred Grainger - Parish Dumfries.

  John Lawrie (spelling it as listed in Scotlandspeople) born July 28, 1811, parents Robert Lawrie/Jean Scott -  parish Carluke.
