Hello Byron.
Yes that sorts it out very well.
Proof you can be in two places at once!
James Married Ann Briggs and had 3 children in Kings Cliffe which i think they all died.
Decided to move for a fresh start in Corby where he had 2 children which survived, but sadly James the father died instead!
And the children could well of been brought up by there Uncles and Aunts from Ann's side.
We have found James the son in all the Census
except for Carey in 1861.
and with that i think i would wrap this part of the family up as Ann will turn up at some point.

The Missing Ann Ashley i think i have found
But need someone to double check for me
so a big favour needed if anyone is going upto the records office
I got this from the burial index i need to know if there is any further info
Ann Ashley Died 19th April 1840 Corby (St John the Baptist Church)
If this is my Ann this would account to why the children are all over the place!
