Could SKS please lookup this gent FREDERICK ALFRED FORDON born 1823 in Hereford Huh any help on this gent greatly appreciated. He is believed to be my GG-Grandfather

Hi Peter

British censuses were (and are!) conducted in years ending with a 1: 1841 is the earliest in which you will find individuals identified in most counties.  I'm sorry I don't have this myself.

In order to help those who may have access to the 1841 census, it would be useful if you could provide more details.

It looks as though you are expecting Alfred to be in Herefordshire, but do you have any idea where?  Do you have information about his parents or siblings (names, birth dates & places?)  Do you have him on later censuses or info about who he married and where?

A quick look at later censuses didn't find anyone that seemed to fit, sorry.  Huh
