Do you share genes with a Charles Bown?

We think the man whose christening details appear below (thanks to Dave Bown) may be my nominal gggrandfather. All we know is that his birthdate is 25th July 1824 somewhere in England (family bible), that his father's name was John, and that he emmigrated to Australia some time in the 1840's.
