HI Billy,    Was mainly interested in the fact that Gt Arthur st came up on site. Just wondered if anyone knew anything about the family or relatives off.  Any info towards my family tree is always interesting and if I can find more relatives so much the better.

Just read this subject my grandma was living in Bk 85 Grt Arthur St Smethwick in 1901, was this the same place

Hi  Susan My gt gt grandmother Martha Johnson was living at No 4 Gt Arthur St in 1881.     Her Daughter Fanny married my  Gt grandfather Charles Pallett  , their daughter  Alice was born there in 1879. She was my Grandmother who married a Thomas Davis in 1899  .........   1891 finds Alice living in Roebuck St a few doors away from Thomas.   So they were possibly childhood sweethearts.
I believe Roebuck st was just around the corner from Gt Arthur St.
Hope there is a link somewhere?Huh

Hi
My grandma was called Ellen Fancote, she lived there with her mum and dad and sister Richard and Florence Fancote (nee Ward)
I am presuming it was part of the same street or a block of flats
