Hi Chris,
Have David Stanley married to Mary Ann Wood Nottingham 13/2/1841. Address in 1841 census is Roberts Court, Bridge Street - he is a shoemaker. Are they there in 1851 please as I have lost them until 1861.

Thanks for that but have him in 1901 in London.
Fancy there being 2 David's both shoe makers. Typical of this family - if they could confuse their descendants, they did.

Damn, thought you had found him but alack and alas - no
Mar 8 1815 William Stanley – Mary Gardner married at Holy Trinity Coventry - states William bachelor of St Lukes - trying to trace him. Have the Holy Cov entry for the marriage but that is the only clue as to where William came from.
Would love to find him in St Lukes, London area and find his occupation - if it is labourer, then know I am chasing the right William.
