Hi,

I asked this question of Scotlands People and got this response:-

For post-1904 birth extracts/certificates you will need to contact the
General Register Office for Scotland (GROS) directly - as they maintain all
the Scottish genealogical records and are better placed to help you. You
will find useful information in this regard from their website listed below
- it also provides a list of contacts:

look under 'family records' tab at how to order modern certificates.
