Does someone know of a Bridget Jackson who lived in Burton upon Trent in 1887?
She registered the birth of my husband grand father 2 months after the birth and we do not know who she is and why it is she who registered the child.
We do not think she is family. Was she the mid wife?
Did midwifes register babies?
There is a Bridget Jackson in Burton upon Trent in the 1891 Census, may be she is the same person.
