Please can you help me!
I have never been able to go back any further with Margaret Worth nee HALL. On her marriage cert to William Worth of Oct 1858 she was 23 and of Macc. Fathers name Charles HALL a labourer witnesses Elizabeth Hall (sister?) and James Hargreaves.
On the 1861 she is 24 a silk spinner and born Manchester.Living at 14 Copper Street, Macc. By 1871 she is 33 a silk danter and born Hazle(stet) Grove. Now in Parsonage Street. On the 1881 she is 44 and born London,Sunny (side?) at 171 Black Road. In 1891 still at Black Road now 46 and born NK......seems to have lost the plot by now! In 1901 still at 171 Black Road but now 70 and born Macc.
So my question is where was she born and who is she??? Not sure whether to believe the earlier censuses as to age and place of birth.
Can someone find an Elizabeth and Margaret Hall with dad Charles in 1851 or 41? I've left these Worth's to one side for ages, but really must sort 'em out one day
Thanks ,
Carol

Thanks Audrey, but I think these may not be the correct family. Margaret would have been born around 1835,so to have a brother b 1819 and a sister 1821,might perhaps be a bit old........but then who knows.
I'll keep them in mind and await further input and suggestions.
All the best
Carol

Mmmmm mulling this one over Peter- thanks very much.Sounds good but a bit more research needed I think- to see if dau Margaret vanishes in 1858. Knowing my luck - the whole flipping family'll disappear
What on earth were they doing in Stafford(day trip to buy some china perhaps!) I'll have to see what happened to Caroline too won't I?
Thanks,I'll be back
