    i have been having this message keep coming up on my screen while im in chat, just before it chucks me out and after it has chucked me out and i have finally managed to write it all down and so i can now tell u exactly wot its telling us. Sarah said to let u know., i know you know that there are probs with the chat room but i thought this might tell you a bit more info.

  this is what it says:

  MACROMEDIA FLASH PLAYER 7  A script in this movie is causing macromedia flash player 7 to run slowly. If it continuesto run, your computermay become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?

              YES     NO


  I dont know wot this means exactly, and dont know if it means anything to you, but this is the message that most of us keep getting. Is there anything that can be done about it, as it seems that this may be the problem to the chat room running badly.

That is the exact error message I get on my "main" computer too - I can't use the RootsChatterBox on it.

To use the RootsChatterBox, I have to boot up on a faster computer with less clutter on it.

If you search on the Macromedia site, I think their advice is:
1) Get a faster connection
2) Get a faster computer (we wish!!)
3) Optimize your computer

Generally closing do wn any programs that are not needed helps - including those little programs that are on "standby" in the toolbar.
