Tomohawk

Some time ago I asked you to try and find Annie Cooper d. 1985 - and you couldn't find her !

I was told today -  that the Bulletin Board at the Church is in her name - would it be possible for you to take a look and maybe get a picture -  I'd really appreciate it!!

Thanking you in advance!

Hi Annie

I'll certainly try and take a look but it won't be until next weekend.  The church is often locked so I will take a look to see if the bulletin board is in the porch first.  As soon as I get a chance I will reply again.

ST Mary's Parish Church - Godmanchester
« Reply #5 on: Sunday 25 May 08 08:40 UTC (UK) »

Hello,
I have Ann Maria Young buried 8 May 1862 age 63 in St. Mary Godmanchester.  This is a very old grave.  If you could find it that would be wonderful.  I am planning on a trip to England next year and would love to find this grave.
Thanks for your help.

Hello Tomohawk, As you live in Godmanchester I was wondering if you can find any info. regarding the Gulley/Bunyon family. I have a William John Gulley (B) 23/10/1810 (C) 26/12/1810 Godmanchester FHL1040993, all the other children (B) & (C) were at St. James Westminister of parents of William John Gulley and Phoebe Ann Bunyon (M) 18/4/1808 St. George Hanover Sq. Westminister.  Somebody did suggest there may be a family connection with Godmanchester, also it was on the coaching route in the 1800's. Thank you.

There are no Gulley marriages in Hunts 1754-1837, and only one burial on the NBI - John Gulley age 33 on 22 Jan 1840 at Huntingdon St Mary and St Benedict. There were a few Bunyan marriages and burials in Hunts, but none in Godmanchester

Did you check the Godmanchester parish register, as suggested in 2007, to see if there was any detail on the baptism entry which might give a clue? You can order and view the parish register microfilm at your nearest LDS Family History Centre
