Do recipients of PM automatically get e-mail notification?

I lost all my data recently including e-mail addresses and I sent a PM to a rellie who is registered with Rootschat but who has yet to post. I haven't had a reply so I wondered whether he automatically got a mail notification of a PM or if he would have to opt for this. I suppose for the sake of privacy I am unable to see somebody's e-mail address? Can anyone advise?

You choose whether to get notified by email of PMs - in your  profile section (personal message options).  If I remember rightly  Huh it is automatically set up to receive email notificatation of PMs but you can disable it like I did - get too many emails already!

If you send me a PM then I can send them an email if you like, aqnd you can incluse your email address to pass on if you wish.
