I would like to tell all you good folk about a new book that has been published on the history of the Parish Church at Whitburn.

Walk with me through Whitburn Parish Church - Written by the founder member of Whitburn Local History Group, 83 year old Mary Stephenson.

A walking tour of the historic Parish Church of Whitburn, near Sunderland.

With Mary's unique local knowledge shining through, this book is a must for all who have an interest in the Village of Whitburn.
There are 26 photographs, many never before published from Mary's own extensive collection.

Cost is £3.50 and it is available from Whitburn Library and Michaels Newsagents in Percy St.,Whitburn.

Copies can be ordered by post (60p p&p extra), if you want to order by post please  send me a personal message.
