can anyone help me please
i think i found my great grandfather on the 1901 census at alverstoke hospital as a patient

his details are

george hunt born 1879
married 1906 although he had his age down as 28
wife florence hunt maiden name chillcott

had a son also called george in 1907 ladywood

Now my grandfather always told me his father died when he was two
i have spent two years trying to find his death including 1837
my aunt thinks he might have died at alverstoke hospital

you see on my grandfathers wedding certificate his father occupation is down as being an able seaman with the royal navy.

i dont know if that is correct or not

he might have died at alverstoke in 1909 like my grandfather thought or it could have been early abt the end of 1907-1908
i would be so great ful if someone could check his death for me i am at a lost as what to do

Also i think i might have another clue his wife married again

florence hunt married george henry loveridge
i found one george henry loveridge on free bmd married 1910 but not his wife
i would be greatful if some one could check this out for me as well because if florence hunt did marry in 1910 then i might have some idea how long she was widowed

thankyou in advance

regards

deborah
hope someone can help i have been trying for two years to find these dates

Hi,

If you put in the year, quarter, vol number then the next or previous page number that you had for George you may find his wife.

Hi Deborah

I was wondering if you had his birth certificate?  with a view to obtaining his service record, which may record his death.
