???help please
could anyone help to find my bainbridges. my father joseph bainbridge was born in 1918 in south shields. his father was joseph sutton bainbridge born 1884 in pontieland,he married mary barns born in brancepeth 1880.she had been married before to joseph brittain. they had john robert brittain and other children before he died ,and she married joesph sutton. they had george w.b. bainbridge born 1913,barbara born1916, edward born 1919 , sarah a. born 1921 and william born 1923. do not know anything about the children other than this as my father moved to the south when he was 15 1/2yrs old. i have found out that joseph sutton bainbridge's dad was anthony bainbridge married to barbara sutton in ferryhill. anthony's mum and dad was william bainbridge do not know were he was born ,but know on the 1971c mary ann bainbridge nee tate was a widow. they were married in st john. newcastle upon tyne in 1859. his dad was a john bainbridge ,he was a huspandman, and willian tait was a huspandman also. have spelt tait both ways as on the marriage licence it is tait but on the census and birth certificate of anthony it comes up as tate . which i supose is possible as she could not write. if anyone has any info please get in touch i would be most greatful...gill
