When did he live?    Just a name is a bit hard even for the helpful people on this site!    Any other information at all will help.

That probably means searching for his birth certificate on www.1837online.co.uk as most of the information which is free online is prior to 1901.      If you can get that you will know his parents and can look for them on the 1901 census.    It is worth trying FreeBMD but they do not have full coverage of births, particularly as late as that.
Sorry not to be more helpful.   When did he marry?   if you get that certificate it will give his father's name and occupation.
