Please could I ask for a look up for the village of Bourton.

Caroline BEASANT (or variation) abt 1849.

Sorry, i do not have any family details to help.

Hi,

The baptism registers for Bourton began in 1860, before then Bourton came under Shrivenham.

Unfortunately, I don't have the Shrivenham registers (yet!!) but if you need a later look up in Bourton, feel free to give me a shout!!

Many thanks for your help. i also had Shrivenham  as a possible place of baptism and it does occur in other references for that family so I may contact you at a later date if that is OK.

There is only one baptism in Shrivenham for the Beasant family
1846 July 5th James s/o Henry & Sarah Beasant - railway porter

however
From 1851 census - HO 107 1687 Fo 60 - Bourton

BESANT
Henry 33  Policeman G.W. Railway born Liddiard Wilts
Sarah 24 born Marcham Berks
Emily 7 born Abingdon Berks
Henry William 6 born Middx Hanwell
James 4 born Berks Bourton
Caroline 1 born Berks Bourton
