Seeking further info on  WALTER TINLINE born c1697 and his wife Anne.
Also their son ROBERT TINLINE born 1737 in Hawick,Rox.
He married Margaret TURNBULL .
Tinline has also be found spelt: TINLIN and TINLING

Have only just found your posting re Walter Tinlin(e) 1697 Hawick

I have Walter Tinlin & Anna Tinlin (dau of Thomas Tinlin & Bessie Dryden) married in 1723. in Ancrum, Hawick. Children are Christian b. 1725; John b. 1727; Ann b. 1729; Robert b. 1737; Agnes b. 1744; all in Hawick.

Robert Tinline married Margaret Turnbull 1760 in Hawick. They had 4 children.
