Kilgannon in 1881 or 1891 census
« on: Sunday 27 March 05 06:55 BST (UK) »

Hello,

I am looking for this family in the 1881 or 1891 census - hoping to find the names and ages for any other children.

James Kilgannon and Agnes Kilgannon (maiden name McGinn )
married 22 MAY 1868   Carnwath, Lanark, Scotland

James Kilgannon born 20 MAY 1873  West Calder, Midlothian, Scotland

Other children from this marriage that I know about are David and William, no idea of ages.

I know that the son James married in Stirling in 1902 and that there were other members of his family in Stirling as well.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Thelma

Ellen,

thank you so much! This helps sort out some of the family ties and will make it easier to track them down between Scotland and Canada.

With great appreciation for your help and if I can ever help with Canadian ties let me know.

No problem

Glad to be of help.  Note - young William was born in Carnwath - Lanark, Scotland, the Lancashire, England is just a mistranscription.

Good luck with your further searching.

Regards

Ellen.
