« on: Sunday 27 March 05 23:58 BST (UK) »

Hi I am looking for the family of Moses Chamberlain c1764 - 1858   Charney, perhaps his baptism would give me this information.

Can anyone help as a family member has been searching for this information for about 2 years.

Hi Lisa

Can I ask where the year of 1764 came from? - I think I have the burial in Charney of Moses Chamberlain aged 81 in 1858 - but that would make his year of birth 1777?

I think the 77 could be right as someone else has found this information for me.

From the 1851 census

Moses Chamberlen, b 1771 &
Elizabeth Chamberlen, b 1767

must be the parents of

William Chamberlen, b 1803 &
Moses Chamberlen, b 1814

The dates a always a little out are they not due to the registration of births being a little later then the actual birth.

I have to posts for two different mosses, the first moses in 1700's the date I had before was for someone else.
