Would anybody have info on-Sarah francis lawrence b ? bracknell,Berkshire.
married James CHEW stroud(his second marriage)-possibly 1869-70?
they had 4 boys and 3 girls

Hi Chrissy,
thought you might have that info but thought it might be another birthplace option. Don't pretend to be an expert on Berkshire so can't tell you whether there is or there isn't.
Had a look on the 1851 for Stroud and found your James Chew. Checked to see if Sarah and family had moved to the area but nothing (not surprising)
Can't find you a birth or marriage of Sarah Sorry. Not being much help am I. Have you tried google searching Bracknell and see what comes up??
Do the birth certs of the children give you any other clue?? Have you been able to find sarahs death cert could that help??

I had a look at the 1881 and 1901 census images. On one she is shown as b Waltham and on the other St Lawrence, I've therefore put 2 and 2 together (and maybe got 5) but, I think she was born in Waltham St Lawrence. Doing a search of Sarahs born in Waltham St Lawrence on the 1851 census I've got a match:

Thank you both for your replies to my Lawrance query,Tonight ,I will go through some very ,very small newsprint to see if the initials match 
The articles are regarding a large funeral in stroud in 1899 with some Lawrance family attending!
Time to get out the magnifying glass again
