I am looking for any connections to my Great Grandfather:

Grosvenor Ashford Clarke


He was born around the late 1800s early 1900s and had a occupation in the theatre. I have linked him to Birmingham.

and a address 28 Sutton Street, Aston, Birmingham in 1924. Living there at that time was Kate Shorto and Maurice Albert Shorto.

In 1924 he had twins born in Birmingham with my great grandmother Irene Aida Littlejohns.

There are two Grosvenor Clarke's born in the UK between 1890 and 1900, but neither of these are him. My Great Grandfather is proving to be very elusive. I have looked at the possibility of him being born in Scotland, but that came up with nothing either. So he may well of been Irish or from somewhere else.

I don't know if him and Irene were actually married or not, as I have searched the gro and found nothing. The birth certs of the twins, does have Irene, as Irene Clarke formerly Littlejohns though.

my family are clarkes and they are hard to track
