I have found a few more clues to my grandmother's family.

As a result of "paid' research I now know the following from the Admission records of the Norfolk Union

Date of Admission: 1884 Oct 6 Name of Pauper Spinks Eliza.  Age 30  Parish Mountergate Class of Diet 5 Date of Discharge 1884 Dec. 28 Dead

Date of Admission: 1884 Oct 6 Name of Pauper Spinks, Rachel Eliza.  Age 6 Parish Mountergate  Class of Diet 8  Date of Discharge 1885 June 22 Kilburn Orphanage

Date of Admission 1884 Dec. 26 Name of Pauper Spinks Bessie Alice Age Born Parish 26th Dec Class of Diet 9  Date of Discharge 1887 Feb. 28th Dead

Another entry states

Admissions and Discharges

1884 Oct 6 Monday
Spinks Eliza Age 30 Parish S Heigham Cause of seeking relief Pregnant
Spinks Rachel Eliza age 6 Parish S Heigham



Any hope of finding further information in the Parish Records


We have the correct one, because without ever seeing this, my mother spoke of grandmother's sister Bessie.
