Hi Lisa,

have you looked on Dorset OPC www.dorset-opc.com yet / already ??

I entered "paul hester beaminster" with "Find ALL words" in the search engine and found amongst other things,

the 1871 Beaminster census (which you have already  Sad ):
39, Gerrard's Green, 1, Joseph, PAUL, Head, Mar, 60, Weaver, Beaminster, F 18 p 7
, , , Hester, PAUL, Wife, Mar, 67, Weaver, Drayton Somerset, F 18 p 7
, , , Frederick, PAUL, Son, Unm, 21, Labourer, Beaminster, F 18 p 7

Lots more PAULs in Beamiinster  in the 1841 and 1861 census so check for possible relatives ...

I then tried "paul joseph beaminster" and got 75 entries, which I didn't have time to check.

It might be worth contacting the OPC for Beaminster, as they often have records which aren't online yet, and they will do look-ups !

Good luck

Thank you Bob,

I have now found the same family on the 1861 census on http://www.dorset-opc.com/1861BeaminsterD2.htm

Any idea where I could find them on the 1851 census?

Cheers Lisa

Thank you that is great, I think I have now found Frederick Paul with his parents Joseph & Hester and also I think I have found Joseph's parents think there were George & Margaret.

I have also found a few sibblings for Frederick in 1861 same I cant find the 1851 as I think there maybe a few more.

Mary Ann - Sister aged  17
Jane - Sister aged 13
George - Nephew aged 5

I can't find a Marriage for Joseph & Hester to find Hesters maiden name she is called Ester on the 1861 census.

There were quite old when they had Frederick...

Cheers All, Lisa
