Can anyone look up this couple in the 1851 census please - this is how i found them in the 1861 as a married couple:
Medlin James Head 22 Ag Lab Born Penryn, Cornwall Medlin Jane Wife 21 Born Penryn, Cornwall
I have also been able to follow them through the 1871, 1881 and 1891 with various children. In 1891 they have also listed a Christance Dewstone Mother (W) 70 Born Penryn, Cornwall, I would guess that this is Jane's maiden name.
Thanks for any help

Hi Chris...Have just trawled Penryn and sorry cannot find these people...No Dewstones at all...A few Medlins but the only James I can see is 19 son of William and Mary so doesnt look right...Hope I havent missed it...Cant c him in 1841 either by some records I guess there is a chance he hasnt been born as yet....Also I had a thought on Christance. I wonder as she is listed as Mother and not Mother in Law perhaps James's mother remarried but still hasnt helped im afraid...suspect Christance may have been wrongly enumerated (Certainly what the 91 scan says) as I cannot find a Christance anything b Penryn on any census...Sorry I couldnt help here....Kris
James Medlin parents - John Medlin and Mary Thomas-Terrett. James was born in 1838 not 1841 and should be in Penryn in 1851.
Jane's parents - William Dewstowe and Christina Timmins - dont know an area or age though but hope this may help anyone out there able to look them up please
