Hi, I found you today just by surfing the web for a name I was looking for to do with my family tree...there's so much on here to look at, I haven't enough eyes to do it....you all sound very friendly and happy on here I'm looking forward to having a good look around the site, I think I will be here for hours

my niece in redcar told me about " rootschat ". it is a really good site that you don't want to log out of it. i have been in most of the threads but still have lots more to visit. you don't log in for a half hour you are in for 2/3 hours, then you wonder where the time went.
you post a query and before you know it an answer to it is on the screen. very nice people or do they prefer "rootchatters ".

I found Rootschat through Google 5 years ago. I joined in September 2004 and have been a member of Rootschat for 5 years nearly. I love Rootschat, it is probably one of the best genealogy forums on the internet.

I am just so glad that I found RC. If only our unhappy world operated with the same philosophy and friendliness how wonderful it would be. To all at RC I send my very best regards.

I can't remember how I found my way to Roots Chat. But I have been wandering around it for a while now....
Haven't had any results to my ancestory posts yet, though... But, who knows, someday someone might just wander in and be surprised to see that there is someone out there with the same ancestors.. Might be shock to them !!
LMAO!
