Henry Rose or Mary King
« on: Wednesday 06 April 05 05:09 UTC (UK) »

Henry Rose apparently from Maidstone Kent 1837
And Mary King from either Bedhampton or Beckhampton 1839 - would have been married around 1860ish show up in the Hampshire Census after their first children are born 1871. Any sign of them before that?

on the 1861 there are 2 possible henry rose's, the first b1839 charlton devon, kent, listed as the son of Richard and susannah, and henry rose, b1837 herne bay, kent, listed as A B seaman (able?) on board ship or vessel bethesda. Both henry's are listed as unmarried.

There is a mary king, age 22, unmarried, house servant, living with parents david (age 47, b. Havant) and ann (age 43 b. Martin, Wilts) in bedhampton hampshire (and born there). David is a miller. Other children present.

Thank you for your hard work.
I think the second Henry is him, he was a sailor! Melanie
