Hi Laurence

Sorry we haven't been able to help you so far on this one.

Have you made any progress,  or do you have any further details that could help someone to find what you are looking for?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

 Hi Laurence,
My son & I have just started to research this side of our family, from our internet research so far I can say Donald came from a farm called "Tomfarclas" at Inveravon. Also James Fleming founder of Aberlour single malt whiskey is related.
Maybe we & this sites kind ppl can help each other with more details.

Regards

Hi Laurence,
We come from the line of Albert James Gordon Fleming (John Laurence's brother) who married Mabel Alice Rose Austin and is the son of John James Fleming and Sarah Ann Margaret Sawyer.

Hi Dean and Gary,
My name is Julie and I found your message on the Roots chat. I'm also descended from John James Grant Fleming and Sarah Ann Margaret Sawyer. John Lawrence (bro of Albert) was my Great Grandfather. I have only just started researching and getting through the mine field of all the genealogy sites. Are you still researching and have you heard about the DNA project for Flemings?
Hope to hear from you.
Regards,
Julie
