Can you please tell me why when i have written a mail, then go to post it . It often says  I have  been timed out or something appropriate, and to try again. so i always do,no problem, but why do we get it?do we only have a certain amount of time to type a mail. Just asking as a matter of interest .

Hi Celia,

You are quite right there is an amount of time for you to post your message. If it helps, I always "copy" my long messages incase there is a problem  Grin

I had this problem yesterday - I also suddenly found that I couldn't read my "recent unread posts" as it kept telling me there weren't any!

After some thinking (!) I realised that I have recently changed the privacy settings on my new computer.  By lowering them slightly, I am now able to post  and send PMs - and my unread box magically filled up again!

I think this is something to do with cookies?

They will make a techie of me yet!
