hi
would like help with tracing any melia,s from birmingham these are the dates and names i have so far
roger kieth melia 1948 and his dad was howard joseph melia 1919
roger had brothers paul and richard dont know years of birth
and roger had one daughter wendy melia born 1971
any years of census with melia on would be of great help please

Horace, age 13, lamp cleaner

Ethel age 7
Leonard age 5
Clement age 2

ed 16 folio 161 page 8
civil parish of Aston

I will look on earlier census for you too

Clara, age 37
Beatrice age 12
Clara age 10
Howard age 7
Blanche age 5
Horace age 4
Joseph age 10 months

ed 16 folio 52 page 5
civil parish of Aston

there is also a Matilda Melia age 26 who is a servant in Devon.

and the 1881 census

Joseph Melia, age 25, electro plate worker
Clara, age 27
Lilly G age 3
Beatrice age 2
Clara E age 4 months

and the 1871 census

Mary Melia, head, married, age 35, upholsterer born Ireland Dublin
Joseph, age 14, electro plate born Birmingham
Matilda, age 10 born Birmingham
Elizabeth age 1 born Birmingham

Not too sure where father is.
