Ullingswick 1861 lookup - WAGSTAFF
« on: Saturday 09 April 05 19:40 BST (UK) »

Hi

Could anyone be kind enough to lookup the Ullingswick 1861 census?
It is for details of Thomas Wagstaff, Agr Labourer and his wife Elizabeth (nee Jones). Their daughter also Elizabeth was born 10th July 1861, Dearndale, Ulllingswick. I don't know if this date was pre or post census.

Any other details such as older children or anything else mentioned would be gratefully received.

Thank you,

Grothenwell

Hello there,

The 1861 Census was taken on the night of the 15th April, so it probably won't give you anything you don't already know.

Dearndale Cottage, Ullingswick

Thomas Wagstaff       26     Mar     Head     Farmer     Herefordshire, Much Cowarne
Elizabeth    do            29     Mar     Wife                      Herefordshire, Grosmont

Regards
Sue

Don't know if you've already got it but I have just come across Thomas's family on the 1851 Census, let me know if you would like me to post it.

Hi Ali,

Thank you very much for taking the time to post this. I actually do have that info from Casalguidi, another kind Rootschatter!

I should take this reminder from you to start looking into my English roots. Despite this very moment getting upset at watching Johnny Wilkinson score a "try" that wasn't! Haha Smiley

Best wishes,

Grothenwell
