Looking for Edith (Ada) Hughes born about 1890 in Lancashire to Samuel Hughes Married to a frank Crosslin /Crossland last known adddress was in 1954 in Wombwell but moved from there. had two sons Horace and Cyril any help in locating these names would be helpful.

Thanks Joe, but this is the wrong Edith. Samuel Hughes was married to Elizabeth Jones .I have them on the 1901 census @ 11 nostel View Featherstone with Edith 11 at that time. There is another Daughter listed as Alice Gallaway 4mts but have no idea who she is. I'm really trying to trace where they went from Wombwell after 1954 have tracked all others in the family.

Joe I've looked at this more closely and see these two you have on the 1891 census for :
Hughes, Samuel 35 FLN Head Golborne Lancashire Coal miner
Hughes, Mary 15 FLN Daughter Golborne Lancashire
Hughes, Sarah 13 Neston, Cheshire Daughter Golborne Lancashire
Ok I have not been able to connect Mary and Sarah as children of Samuel ,I did a serch in LDS and no luck. I'm new at this but what does the (FLN) stand for by the name
In the 1881 census there is only Daniel listed as children to this marriage. There was also a Mary Tobin listed as sister but would have been older than this Mary in 1891.
