looking for anyone knowing of a Norman De. livi? Pyrah, Father's name Robert, Mother's name Rose. He was possibly born in Coventry, Warwickshire

As far as I can tell my Father [Norman] was born around 1914. He was one of the boys sent to Canada to work on farms, and he arrived in Canada at the age of 15 in 1929. I have no info, on his Father [Robert] or his Mother [Rose].

I have found this birth registered for a Norman Pyrah in 1914.

Norman Pyrah
Registered in the district of Coventry
Jan-Mar quarter 1914
mothers maiden name Lovett
Vol 6d page 1448

It would be a good idea to order the certificate to verify his parents names.

This could be him.

Did you know that there is an immigration record for Norman Pyrah on the Canadian Archives site?

Go to:

http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/02011802_e.html

and put in Pyrah in the surname.

You can order the record from Ottowa. It should give you info on his exact birth date and parents.
