Shirenewton marriage - James Welsh c1816
« on: Tuesday 12 April 05 08:46 UTC (UK) »

Hi there - I'm trying to locate the date of a marriage in either Shirenewton or Itton parish church of James Welsh (papermaker) and Ann Wilcocks.
Their first son was born in 1817, so I assume they were married around 1816.

Can anyone help ??  Huh

Hi mw

No record of the above marriage in the GFHS Marriage Index 1813-1837.

Only one surname Welsh.

James Welsh (w)  married Ann Reynolds 28 Feb 1825 Aberystruth.

Both groom and bride were of the Aberystruth parish.
