I'm looking for any information on the family of John Willis, a miller of Caversham. His daughter, Ellen (b. abt 1861), managed to meet Thomas Kent, blacksmith of Allerford, Somerset (b. 6 Aug 1861) and more surprisingly they married at St Mary's Church, Morthoe, Devon 21 Oct 1885. I'm unable to find conclusive evidence of Ellen's birth or of her parents and forebears. All info greatly appreciated.
Cheers Dave

Hi Debbie,
This is really outstanding I've been trying to trace this family for some time now. The census info and especially the church records have advanced my research by light years.
I notice part of your area of research is Berkshire. Let me know if any of your people stray over the Wiltshire border as I may be able to help.
Many thanks again
Cheers Dave
