Does anyone have any old issues of the "Hawick Archeaological Society" yearly issues?
The three I really am interested in (for now) are 1938.1939 & 1940.?

Hi there,

Are these the issues with the MIs in them?  If so, did you ever manage to find them?

Cheers,
Clare

Hi Amanda,

Does this one have the Teviothead entries?

I'm looking for Dickson or Dixon in Teviothead.

Thanks,

Debbie

Hi Debbie, this is not a complete list of headstones on the Teviothead Old Churchyard, there are no Dixon or Dicksons mentioned, the new burial ground at Teviothead was opened in 1887,just across the road next to the church, not sure what years you are interested in,
Amanda.

Hi Amanda,

Thanks for looking.  I did learn something as I didn't know there were 2 churchyards in Teviothead.

The earliest Dicksons I have in Teviothead died around 1820.  I have a copies of photos of a couple of headstones (my direct ancestors) but thought I might be able to link together some other branches if there were other headstone details available.  I am sure there is a link, but the link is very elusive.

I'll just have to go visit myself sometime (it is on the very long and getting longer list of holiday destinations).

Thanks once again,

Debbie
