Timperley Lodge still exists though is no longer a nursing home.  It is a listed building.  Googling Timperley Lodge shows it to be on Claremont Avenue.

Oddly, some months ago when I was involved in a massive investigation via the Lancashire board.
I came across a nurse who was married from there. Not my family,

I can tell you more about its location but I suspect googling the above will find it on a map.

Hi there - did you find Timperley Lodge Nursing Home. I was born there in 1950 and would like to see the building if it still stands!

that is a good picture -  never used bing before for that - always tried google streetview

i was puzzled why it only seemed to mention that the gateway was listed and not the lodge as well
